What is HiLink?
HiLink is Huawei’s driver-free technology. Instead of installing software, the modem creates a web interface at 192.168.8.1 when plugged in. You manage connections, settings, and enter unlock codes through your browser.
How to Unlock
Find Your IMEI
- Plug the modem/wingle into USB
- Open a browser and go to 192.168.8.1
- Go to About > Device Information and copy the 15-digit IMEI
Purchase and Enter Code
- Go to our Huawei V4 Unlock Code page
- Enter IMEI and email, complete payment
- Insert a non-original SIM
- The HiLink interface will prompt for a code — enter the 8-digit V4 code
- Device is permanently unlocked
